From students and parents to school administrators and teachers, there is a growing demand for online courses. These enthusiasts are recognizing not only the educational opportunities for ?getting ahead' in an increasingly competitive economy and higher education acceptance policies, but they are also realizing that online learning helps to sharpen writing skills and, for some, encourages confident communication and assertion of opinions.
According to a survey report from Project Tomorrow and Blackboard Inc., while there is a growing demand for online learning, there is still a huge amount of accessible and curious learners. "One-third of middle school and high school students say they are interested in taking an online course but have not yet, and 30 percent of 3rd-5th grade students report they would like to take an online course."
With so many people just beginning to truly understand the advantages and value of an online education, education reform in America is looking brighter and more promising with each and every online enrollment.
