The 2011 legislative session has been quite monumental for the school choice movement.  Across the country state legislators are taking a stand in support of the future of America's youth by sponsoring and supporting legislation promoting legislation that would enact or expand private school choice programs, opening the doors to millions of low- and middle-income students to receive a high-quality education.

Halfway through 2011, the Alliance for School Choice/American Federation of Children released this week a report analyzing the various pieces of school choice legislation state by state.

These bills would not have been possible if it weren't for the countless families across America that have joined together and taken a stand against the education status-quo.   Families need options, and will not back down until every child in America has access to the education that best fits his/her needs.
