What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

  3. and now threeee

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

  • two bullets
  • and now three

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Tillie Elvrum was the former Board President of PSO from 2015-2019 and today she continues to work for parents and children through her parent resource organization Parent Support For Online Learning. But her advocacy and education reform journey began back in 2002 when her son's educational needs were not being met.

"I began advocating when my son's first three years of public schooling were interrupted and impacted by yearly teacher strikes. I continued when the cyber school options that served our son well were under threat. Twenty years later I continue to advocate for school choice and education reform because far too many families are without meaningful educational options for their students."

Through Parent Support for Online Learning, Tillie offers parents an active Facebook community, a mentorship program, and weekly interviews of parents, educators, advocates, and students called the "Parent Exchange". Recent episodes have featured Chad Aldeman, Founder of Read Not Guess, and 2022 Michigan Charter School Teacher of the Year, Amy Dunlap. Tillie believes "every parent or guardian, regardless of income or zip code, has the ability to choose from a wide array of educational options and the resources to access those options -- without burdensome bureaucratic restrictions" and she wants to help facilitate families' access to their choices.

"If you are dissatisfied with your child's current school, find out what other options are available. Taking a leap of faith and changing schools can be scary, but you will never regret investing in your child's education. And if the schooling options you need aren't available to you--  pursue them by partnering with organizations and policymakers that can help you."

Tillie has seen "many advocacy wins over the years including lifting enrollment barriers and ensuring funding for online schools," but she says she is "most proud of the continued growth of online learning opportunities for students across the country."

"There has been one constant in the pursuit of educational opportunity -- PARENTS! No significant policy win has ever happened without the voices and sweat equity of parents."

Tillie Elvrum loves "all things Jane Austen" and when she's not advocating she enjoys attending concerts and playing music. She lives in Colorado with her family.
