Utah parents can take advantage of many public education options in order to meet their children's learning needs. Charter schools, virtual schools, open-enrollment and dual enrollment programs have all proved successful options for parents who find that their neighborhood public school may not best serve their children's unique learning styles, talents or special needs. But in order to safeguard and expand these options there is much work to be done. To ensure access and equitable funding, parents must be heard as the state legislature considers cutting school spending. As budgets are cut, parents must ensure that education options remain accessible, are allowed to expand and are funded equitably.
The Utah Chapter of the National Coalition of Public School Options is organizing parents to ensure their voices are heard as Utah policymakers consider how to ensure public education options are accessible to every Utah family. Join us today to help protect and expand the public school options that best suit your family's needs.
