What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

  1. testing number bullets
  2. and two
  3. and now threeee

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

  • Testnig one bullet
  • two bullets
  • and now three

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

With so much attention being paid to parental rights in education, we launched #ITrustParents Week last year in an effort to make sure providing families with a choice in their child’s education is part of the conversation. Here's what’s on tap for this year’s celebration:

Monday, December 5: Please post on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram) using the
hashtag #ITrustParents. Not sure what to say? Feel free to use the sample Tweet below:
As a parent, no one knows my child better than me. I join with parents across the country when I
ask policymakers to support policies that let me make educational decisions for my child,
including choosing the best school for their needs. #ITrustParents

Tuesday, December 6: Share a quick (:30 second) video on social media describing what
parent choice means to you. Please use the hashtag #ITrustParents

Wednesday, December 7: Share one of the three graphics here to help spread awareness about the importance of parent choice

Thursday, December 8: Schooling on your terms! Share a photo or story on social media about
how your child’s school enables them to be themselves. For example, does your child learn
best while laying upside down? Does your child participate in an activity they wouldn’t
otherwise be able to do if they were at a traditional school? Remember to use the
#ITrustParents hashtag!

Friday, December 9: Join us for a Facebook Live to celebrate the end of #ITrustParents week.
We’ll be going live at 3 pm ET.

We’re raising the stakes this year! To reward you for your participation, please complete
the game board and send it to kristen@publicschooloptions.org for your
chance to win one of TWO $100 Amazon gift cards!
