• Meeting with lawmakers;
• Participating in letter-writing or social media campaigns to lawmakers;
• Attending local events like a town hall; 
• Drafting a letter to the editor of your local newspaper; and
• Engaging your friends and family in an activity like attending a rally at the capitol.
